Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive pet parent experiences. You'll handle full grooming menus, maintain hygiene standards, and contribute to salon success through sales and pet safety protocols in our Franklin store.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute bath, brush, grooming, nail trims, teeth brushing per PetSmart standards.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, manage reservations, check-ins/outs, and reminder calls.
- Drive salon sales by recommending services/merchandise and achieving productivity targets.
- Uphold cleanliness/sanitation; respond to pet health issues, including vet transport if needed.
- Assist other departments, follow policies, and participate in team culture.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or 6 months PetSmart Stylist in Training with Salon Academy certification. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, communication, and physical ability to lift 50+ lbs in a pet hair/wet environment with moderate-high noise.
