Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog and/or Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This hands-on role combines technical grooming expertise with customer engagement, salon maintenance, and sales growth, all while upholding PetSmart's vision for pet health, safety, and happiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards, including baths, brushes, nail trims, and sanitary care.
• Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, manage appointments, and drive salon sales through recommendations.
• Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness, monitor pet health, and respond to emergencies like vet transports.
• Handle check-ins/outs, client communications, and rebooking to enhance pet parent satisfaction.
• Collaborate across departments and participate in PetSmart's culture of belonging.

Experience & Skills

Seeking groomers with prior experience or successful completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy. Must excel in high-pressure environments, demonstrate organizational prowess, communicate effectively, and embrace flexible scheduling. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in pet-filled settings with moderate noise.
