Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Geneva, Illinois store, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional pet parent experiences. This role combines technical grooming expertise with customer engagement to drive salon success.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards.
- Consult with pet parents on needs and recommend wellness solutions.
- Handle reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and sales promotions.
- Maintain salon cleanliness and respond to pet health issues promptly.
- Contribute to sales goals and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Must demonstrate computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.

- Assist in sales targets and cross-department support as needed
