Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds top standards for pet health and safety. This role combines technical grooming expertise with outstanding customer service to drive salon success and pet happiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Recommend wellness solutions and sell merchandise to meet sales targets.
- Handle pet parent interactions: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, reminder calls, and consultations.
- Maintain salon sanitation, perform daily cleaning, and ensure humane pet conditions.
- Identify and address sick/injured pets, transporting to vet if needed; assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Must have computer skills, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, strong organization, communication, and physical ability to lift 50+ lbs in a dynamic, pet-filled environment with moderate noise and wet conditions.

42,000 - 55,000 CAD / yearly

- Capacity to lift 50+ lbs and handle physical demands (experience)
- Composure under pressure in fast-paced environment (experience)
Responsibilities
