Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Glendora, CA location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional pet parent experiences. This role combines technical grooming expertise with customer service and sales to drive salon success.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions and rebook appointments
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and salon maintenance
- Promote merchandise and services to meet sales targets
- Respond to pet health issues and assist other departments as needed
Experience & Skills
Requires prior grooming experience or completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy. Must have computer proficiency, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, strong organization, communication skills, and ability to lift 50+ lbs in a fast-paced pet environment with moderate noise and wet conditions.
