Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog and/or Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This role combines technical grooming expertise with outstanding customer service, salon maintenance, and sales growth in a fast-paced retail environment. Located in Greeley, Colorado, you'll contribute to our store's success while upholding pet health, safety, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards, including baths, brushes, nail trims, and sanitary care.
• Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, recommend products, and drive salon sales.
• Handle check-ins, check-outs, reservations, reminder calls, and maintain accurate client records.
• Ensure salon cleanliness, sanitation, and humane pet conditions through daily maintenance.
• Respond to pet health issues, assist other departments, and follow all policies.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates have prior grooming experience or 6 months as a PetSmart Stylist in Training with successful Salon Academy completion. Proficiency in computers, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication are essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
