Role Overview
As a Pet Stylist (Dog and/or Cat Groomer) in Green Bay, WI, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering best-in-class salon services while upholding company vision, mission, values, and strategy. Share responsibility for salon cleanliness, pet health, and safety. Enjoy flexibility in a dynamic pet retail environment.
Essential Physical Demands
Stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs (team lift 100+ lbs), work in wet/hairy conditions with moderate to high noise. Exposure to live animals common. Reasonable accommodations available.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform full grooming menu per PetSmart standards.
- Recommend health/wellness solutions and sell merchandise/services.
- Handle pet parent interactions, reservations, check-in/out, and reminder calls.
- Maintain salon sanitation via daily checklists; address sick/injured pets immediately.
- Drive salon sales, productivity, and metrics; assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
- Prior grooming or 6 months PetSmart training with certification.
- Computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling.
- Strong organization, attention to safety, communication skills.
