Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This role combines hands-on grooming expertise with customer engagement, salon maintenance, and sales growth in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary care.
• Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, recommend products, and upsell services to meet sales goals.
• Handle check-ins/outs, reservations, reminder calls, and maintain accurate client records.
• Uphold salon cleanliness, pet safety, and humane conditions; respond to pet health issues immediately.
• Collaborate across departments and participate in team recognition initiatives.

Experience & Skills

Seeking groomers with prior experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Must demonstrate computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational precision, and excellent communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in pet-heavy environments.
