Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This full-time role upholds our vision of pet health, safety, and satisfaction while driving salon success through skilled grooming and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Consult with pet parents on wellness needs, recommend solutions, and upsell merchandise/services to meet sales goals.
• Handle salon operations: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, reminder calls, and client records.
• Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness and humane conditions; respond to pet health issues including vet transport.
• Collaborate across departments, follow policies, and contribute to a culture of recognition.

Experience & Skills

Seeking groomers with prior experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training plus Salon Academy certification. Must excel in high-pressure environments, possess computer proficiency, organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in pet-heavy, noisy settings. Flexible scheduling for evenings/weekends/holidays required.
