Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Kingsport, Tennessee location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional pet parent experiences. Share responsibility for salon cleanliness and thrive in a fast-paced, pet-loving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions and rebook appointments.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and sales register interactions.
- Maintain salon sanitation, perform daily maintenance, and respond to pet health issues.
- Drive salon sales through recommendations and promotions.
Experience & Skills
Prior grooming experience required, or 6 months as Stylist in Training with PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to pets/noise.
