Role Overview

As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Lacey, Washington store, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering best-in-class salon services while upholding company vision, mission, values, and strategy. Share responsibility for salon cleanliness, pet health, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards.
• Recommend health and wellness solutions to pet parents.
• Manage pet parent experience via in-person, phone, and register interactions.
• Handle reservations, check-in/out, client records, and rebooking.
• Maintain salon sanitation, perform daily maintenance, and respond to pet health issues.
• Promote sales to meet targets and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

Prior grooming experience or 6 months as Stylist in Training with PetSmart’s Salon Academy certification required. Proficiency in computers, ability to work under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), strong organization, attention to safety, and communication skills essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to pets, water, and noise.
