Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) at our Lake Havasu City, AZ store, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats, ensuring positive pet parent experiences. Uphold our vision of pet health, safety, and salon excellence while sharing cleanliness responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Recommend wellness solutions, greet pet parents, manage reservations, check-in/out, and reminder calls.
- Drive salon sales through merchandise/service promotions to hit targets.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness/sanitation; handle sick pets and transport to vet if needed.
- Assist other departments, follow policies, and foster a culture of belonging.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as Stylist in Training with PetSmart Salon Academy certification. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet hair/wet environment with moderate-high noise and live animals.
