Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive pet parent experiences. You'll handle full grooming menus, maintain salon standards, and contribute to store success in a dynamic Las Vegas location. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is key in this hands-on role involving pet handling and moderate physical demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute bath, brush, grooming, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, manage appointments, check-ins/outs, and rebookings.
• Promote salon sales, merchandise, and services to meet targets.
• Uphold cleanliness, sanitation, and humane pet conditions; perform daily maintenance.
• Respond to pet health issues, assist other departments, and follow all policies.

Physical Demands

Stand/walk extensively, lift up to 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), work in wet/hairy environments with moderate noise and live animals.

Experience & Skills

Required

• Prior grooming or 6 months PetSmart training with certification.
• Computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling.
• Strong organization, communication, and safety focus.
