Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensures pet safety, and builds lasting pet parent relationships. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, this role combines technical grooming expertise with outstanding customer service to uphold our vision of best-in-class experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Consult with pet parents on health/wellness needs, recommend solutions, and upsell merchandise/services to meet sales goals.
• Handle salon operations: greet clients, manage reservations/check-ins/outs, reminder calls, and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure salon cleanliness/sanitation, monitor pet health, and respond to emergencies like transporting sick pets to vets.
• Collaborate across departments, participate in team culture, and adhere to all policies.

Experience & Skills

Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training with successful Salon Academy completion/certification. Must excel in computer use, stay composed under pressure, communicate effectively, and organize meticulously. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet hair-filled, noisy environment with live animals.
