Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Lawnside, NJ location, you'll engage pet parents and provide best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats. Uphold PetSmart's vision while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently deliver full grooming services per PetSmart standards
- Recommend wellness solutions and upsell merchandise/services
- Handle pet parent interactions, reservations, check-in/out procedures
- Maintain salon cleanliness and report sick/injured pets immediately
- Drive salon sales and assist other departments as needed
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as Stylist in Training with PetSmart Salon Academy certification. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in pet environments.
