Role Overview
PetSmart Pet Stylists (Dog/Cat Groomers) deliver exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and parents. This full-time role in Leominster emphasizes grooming expertise, customer engagement, and maintaining top safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards
- Consult with pet parents on wellness needs and upsell services/merchandise
- Handle salon operations: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, and reminder calls
- Drive salon sales to meet targets and promote growth
- Uphold cleanliness, sanitation, and humane pet care; respond to health issues
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Must demonstrate computer skills, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility, organizational precision, and excellent communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in pet-heavy environments.
