Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Lilburn, Georgia location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats, ensuring positive pet parent experiences. Uphold PetSmart's vision of pet health, safety, and satisfaction while sharing responsibility for salon cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per standards.
- Consult with pet parents on health/wellness solutions, manage appointments, records, and sales register interactions.
- Drive salon growth by promoting services/merchandise to meet sales targets.
- Maintain humane conditions, perform daily/end-of-day cleaning, and handle sick/injured pets promptly.
- Greet clients, answer questions, and assist departments as needed while following all policies.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as Stylist in Training with PetSmart Salon Academy certification. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet hair/wet environment with moderate-high noise and live animal exposure.
