Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog Groomer) delivers best-in-class salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds pet health, safety, and cleanliness standards. This dynamic role combines hands-on grooming expertise with exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment at our London, Ontario location.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per PetSmart protocols.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, manage appointments, check-ins/outs, and rebookings.
- Drive salon sales through recommendations, merchandising, and achieving productivity targets.
- Maintain impeccable salon hygiene, perform daily maintenance, and respond to pet health emergencies.
- Assist in other store areas, follow company policies, and foster a positive team environment.
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Must excel in computer use, communication, organization, and multitasking under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in a pet-filled, sometimes noisy/wet environment. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays required.

35,000 - 50,000 CAD / yearly

- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays (experience)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and safety focus (experience)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (experience)
Responsibilities

- Maintain salon cleanliness, sanitation, and pet safety; handle sick/injured pets
