Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) at PetSmart in Loveland, CO, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional pet parent experiences. Share responsibility for salon cleanliness and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per standards.
- Consult with pet parents on needs, recommend wellness solutions, and upsell merchandise/services to meet sales targets.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, reminder calls, client records, and rebooking.
- Maintain salon sanitation via daily checklists; respond to sick/injured pets, including vet transport.
- Assist other departments, follow policies, and promote salon productivity metrics.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training with successful Salon Academy completion and safety certification. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands: lift 50+ lbs, stand/walk extensively, work in wet/noisy environments with animals.
