Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This role upholds PetSmart's vision of superior pet care, salon cleanliness, and safety standards while contributing to store success through sales and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per company standards.
- Recommend wellness solutions and promote merchandise/services to meet sales targets.
- Handle pet parent interactions: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, consultations, and rebooking.
- Maintain salon hygiene via daily cleaning checklists and ensure humane pet conditions.
- Respond to pet health issues, assist other departments, and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
Requires prior grooming experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Must demonstrate computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational precision, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in pet-heavy environments.

- Excellent written and verbal communication (experience)
Responsibilities

- Manage salon check-in/out, reservations, client records, and reminder calls
