Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog and/or Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This role upholds our vision of best-in-class grooming while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and sales goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards, including baths, brushes, nail trims, and sanitary care.
• Consult with pet parents on health solutions, manage appointments, check-ins, and rebookings.
• Promote salon sales, recommend merchandise, and achieve productivity targets.
• Ensure salon sanitation, pet welfare, and immediate action for sick/injured pets.
• Participate in store culture, assist other departments, and follow all policies.

Experience & Skills

Seeking groomers with prior experience or completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy. Must demonstrate computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
