Role Overview

As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Mesa, Arizona location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats, ensuring positive experiences for pets and parents. Uphold PetSmart's vision by maintaining cleanliness, safety, and driving salon success through exceptional service and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Consult with pet parents on health/wellness solutions and recommend merchandise/services to meet sales goals.
• Handle pet parent interactions: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, reminder calls, and rebooking.
• Maintain salon sanitation, perform daily/end-of-day cleaning, and ensure humane pet conditions.
• Respond to sick/injured pets, assist other departments, and follow all company policies.

Experience & Skills

Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training with successful Salon Academy completion. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, exposure to wet/hair-filled environments, and animal handling.
