Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Miami, Florida location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional pet parent experiences. This role combines technical grooming expertise with customer engagement and salon operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions and rebook appointments.
- Drive salon sales through recommendations and promotions.
- Maintain salon cleanliness and respond to pet health issues.
- Handle check-ins, check-outs, and client communications.
Experience & Skills
Requires prior grooming experience or completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy. Must have computer proficiency, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, strong organization, communication skills, and ability to lift 50+ lbs in a fast-paced pet environment with moderate noise and wet conditions.

- Excellent written and verbal communication (experience)
Responsibilities
- Perform full grooming services including bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing
- Engage pet parents to recommend services and merchandise
- Manage salon check-in/out, reservations, and client records
- Maintain salon cleanliness and pet safety standards
- Achieve sales targets and promote salon growth
