Role Overview

PetSmart Pet Stylists (Dog/Cat Groomers) deliver exceptional salon services, ensuring positive pet parent experiences. This role upholds our vision of pet health, safety, and satisfaction while driving salon sales and maintaining top cleanliness standards. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential in our fast-paced Miami store.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, recommend merchandise, and upsell services to meet sales goals.
• Manage pet parent interactions: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, reminder calls, and rebooking.
• Ensure salon hygiene through daily maintenance, end-of-day cleaning, and immediate action on sick/injured pets.
• Assist other departments, follow policies, and contribute to our inclusive culture.

Experience & Skills

Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training with successful Salon Academy completion and safety certification. Must demonstrate computer proficiency, composure under pressure, organizational skills, attention to safety, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet hair-filled, noisy environment with live animals.
