Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Miami, Florida location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional pet parent experiences. Share responsibility for salon cleanliness and contribute to store success through sales and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Greet pet parents, manage reservations, check-ins/outs, reminder calls, and client records.
- Recommend wellness solutions, promote services/merchandise to meet sales targets.
- Maintain salon sanitation, humane conditions, and take action on sick/injured pets.
- Assist other departments, participate in recognition culture, follow policies.
Experience & Skills
Prior grooming experience required, or 6 months as Stylist in Training with PetSmart Salon Academy certification. Proficiency in computers, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, strong communication. Physical demands: lift 50+ lbs, stand/walk, work in wet/noisy environments with animals.
