Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Middletown, Delaware store, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional pet parent experiences. Share responsibility for salon cleanliness and contribute to sales goals in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Recommend wellness solutions, manage appointments, check-ins/outs, and client communications.
- Maintain salon sanitation, perform daily maintenance, and address pet health issues promptly.
- Drive sales through service/merchandise recommendations and achieve productivity targets.
- Assist other departments and follow all company policies.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training with successful Salon Academy completion. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to pets/noise.
