Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds the highest standards of pet health, safety, and salon cleanliness. This dynamic role combines technical grooming expertise with outstanding customer service to drive salon success and pet parent satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Recommend wellness solutions, manage appointments, check-ins/outs, and client records.
• Greet pet parents, handle inquiries, promote services/merchandise to meet sales targets.
• Maintain salon sanitation, perform daily/end-of-day cleaning, and ensure humane pet conditions.
• Respond to sick/injured pets, assist other departments, and follow all policies.

Experience & Skills

Require prior grooming experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Must have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet-filled, sometimes noisy/wet environment.
