Role Overview

As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) at our Mt Laurel, New Jersey location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional pet parent experiences. Share responsibility for salon cleanliness and contribute to sales goals in a dynamic pet retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary care.
• Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, manage appointments, check-ins/outs, and rebookings.
• Drive salon sales by recommending merchandise/services and achieving productivity targets.
• Maintain salon sanitation, perform daily/end-of-day cleaning, and respond to pet health issues.
• Greet clients, answer questions, and assist across departments as needed.

Experience & Skills

Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training with successful Salon Academy completion. Must have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, exposure to pets/noise/wet areas.
