Role Overview
PetSmart Pet Stylists (Dog/Cat Groomers) deliver exceptional salon services, ensuring pet health, safety, and parent satisfaction. This hands-on role combines technical grooming expertise with outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness needs, recommend services/merchandise to boost sales targets.
- Handle salon operations: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, reminder calls, client records.
- Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness and humane pet conditions; respond to health issues including vet transport.
- Collaborate across departments and embody PetSmart's values.
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or PetSmart Salon Academy certification. Must excel in high-pressure settings, possess computer proficiency, flexible scheduling, organizational prowess, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in pet-filled environments.

- Excellent written and verbal communication (experience)
