Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Nashua, NH location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional pet parent experiences. This role combines technical grooming expertise with customer engagement and salon operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards.
- Consult with pet parents on needs, recommend wellness solutions, and drive salon sales.
- Handle reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and client communications.
- Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness and humane conditions; respond to pet emergencies.
- Collaborate across departments and follow all company policies.
Experience & Skills
Prior grooming experience required, or successful completion of PetSmart’s Salon Academy and safety certification. You need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
