Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds top standards for pet health and safety. This dynamic role in our New Minas store combines hands-on grooming with customer interaction to drive salon success.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards.
- Recommend wellness products and services based on pet needs.
- Handle pet parent interactions, reservations, check-ins, and sales.
- Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness and respond to pet health issues.
- Collaborate across departments and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Must demonstrate computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility, organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
