Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our North Attleboro, MA location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional customer experiences. This role combines technical grooming expertise with customer engagement to drive salon success.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary care.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, recommend products, and upsell services to meet sales goals.
- Handle salon operations: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, reminder calls, and client records.
- Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness, perform daily maintenance, and respond to pet health issues.
- Collaborate across departments and uphold company policies.
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy (6 months training + certification). Must excel in high-pressure environments, possess computer proficiency, strong communication, and organizational skills. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in pet-heavy, noisy settings. Flexible scheduling required: evenings, weekends, holidays.
