Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog and/or Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and parents. This role upholds our vision of pet health, safety, and satisfaction while driving salon success through expert grooming and customer engagement. Located in North Conway, New Hampshire, enjoy a supportive team environment with flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary care.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness needs, recommend services, and promote merchandise to boost sales.
- Handle check-ins/outs, reservations, reminder calls, and client records with precision.
- Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness, perform daily maintenance, and ensure humane pet conditions.
- Respond swiftly to pet health issues, assist departments as needed, and embody our culture of recognition.
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or completion of PetSmart's 6-month Stylist in Training program and Salon Academy certification. Must excel in high-pressure settings, possess computer proficiency, organizational prowess, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in pet-filled environments. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays required.
