Role Overview
PetSmart Pet Stylists (Dog/Cat Groomers) deliver exceptional salon services, ensuring pet health, safety, and parent satisfaction. This hands-on role combines technical grooming expertise with outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services.
- Consult with pet parents on needs, recommend wellness products/services, and upsell to meet sales goals.
- Handle salon operations: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, client records, reminder calls.
- Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness and humane pet conditions; respond to health issues promptly.
- Collaborate across departments and embody PetSmart's values of recognition and inclusion.
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or PetSmart Salon Academy certification. Must excel in high-pressure settings, possess computer proficiency, strong communication, and organizational skills. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to pets/noise/water. Flexible scheduling required.

- Excellent written and verbal communication (experience)
