Role Overview
PetSmart Pet Stylists (Groomers) deliver exceptional salon services for dogs and cats, ensuring positive experiences while upholding safety and cleanliness standards. This full-time role in our Oceanside store involves hands-on grooming, customer engagement, and salon operations in a fast-paced pet retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards
- Consult with pet parents on wellness needs and recommend add-ons
- Handle appointments, check-ins, check-outs, and rebooking
- Maintain impeccable salon hygiene and monitor pet health
- Drive sales through merchandise promotion and service upsells
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy. Must excel in customer service, organization, and multitasking under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in a pet-filled environment. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
