Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Ocoee, Florida store, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats, ensuring positive pet parent experiences. Uphold PetSmart's vision by maintaining cleanliness, pet health, and safety standards in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions and rebook appointments
- Drive salon sales through merchandise recommendations and metrics achievement
- Handle check-in/out procedures, reminder calls, and client records
- Maintain salon sanitation, respond to pet health issues, and assist other departments
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Must demonstrate computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to pets, water, and moderate noise.

- Excellent written and verbal communication (experience)
Responsibilities
- Perform full grooming services including bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing
- Engage pet parents to recommend services and merchandise
- Manage salon check-in/out, reservations, and client records
- Maintain salon cleanliness and pet safety standards
- Achieve sales targets and promote salon growth
