Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds the highest standards of pet safety and salon cleanliness. This full-time role in Orillia offers flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities to advance through PetSmart's development programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness needs and recommend solutions.
- Manage salon operations including greetings, bookings, check-ins/outs, and reminder calls.
- Drive sales through merchandise and service promotions to hit targets.
- Maintain impeccable salon hygiene and respond to pet health issues promptly.
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or successful completion of PetSmart's 6-month Salon Academy training. Must demonstrate computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs in a fast-paced, pet-filled environment. Flexibility and composure under pressure are essential.
