Role Overview

As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Orlando, FL location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional customer experiences. This role combines technical grooming expertise with sales savvy and outstanding pet parent service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, recommend services/merchandise to boost sales targets.
• Handle salon operations: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, reminder calls, client records.
• Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness, perform daily/end-of-day maintenance, ensure humane pet conditions.
• Respond to pet health issues, assist other departments, follow all policies.

Experience & Skills

Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training with successful Salon Academy completion/certification. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational precision, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, exposure to wet/hair-filled environments with live animals.
