Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Groomers (Pet Stylists) deliver exceptional salon services, ensuring pet health, safety, and satisfaction. Based in our Ottawa, Ontario location, you'll work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with pet parents and team members to uphold our mission of superior pet care.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards, including baths, brushes, nail trims, and teeth brushing.
• Consult with pet parents on wellness needs and recommend services/merchandise to boost sales targets.
• Handle salon operations: greetings, reservations, check-ins/outs, reminder calls, and client records.
• Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness, perform daily maintenance, and ensure humane pet conditions.
• Respond to pet health issues, assist other departments, and foster a culture of belonging.

Experience & Skills

Seeking groomers with prior experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Must demonstrate computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility, organizational skills, and excellent communication. Physical demands include lifting up to 50lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
