Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds the highest standards of pet health, safety, and salon cleanliness. This role combines technical grooming expertise with outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Recommend wellness solutions and upsell merchandise to meet sales targets.
- Handle pet parent interactions: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, consultations, and reminder calls.
- Maintain salon sanitation, perform daily maintenance, and ensure humane pet conditions.
- Respond to pet health issues, transport to vet if needed, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Must demonstrate computer proficiency, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, strong communication, organizational skills, and physical ability to lift 50+ lbs in a wet, noisy, pet-filled environment with moderate-high noise exposure.

- Composure under pressure (experience)
Responsibilities
