Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Palm Springs, CA location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional pet parent experiences. Share responsibility for salon cleanliness and promote wellness solutions to drive sales and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary care.
- Greet pet parents, manage reservations, check-in/out, and conduct reminder calls.
- Recommend health products/services, upsell merchandise to meet sales targets.
- Maintain salon sanitation via daily checklists; respond to pet health issues.
- Assist other departments and follow all company policies.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Must have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, exposure to pets/noise/wet environments.

Responsibilities

- Identify and respond to sick/injured pets, assist other departments
