Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in Papillion, Nebraska, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional pet parent experiences. Share responsibility for salon cleanliness and uphold PetSmart's vision, mission, and values in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Engage pet parents in-person, phone, register; recommend wellness solutions, manage reservations, records, check-in/out.
- Drive salon sales through promotions, merchandise recommendations to meet targets.
- Maintain humane, sanitary conditions; perform daily/end-of-day cleaning checklists.
- Respond to sick/injured pets, assist departments, follow policies.
Experience & Skills
Prior grooming experience required, or 6 months as Stylist in Training with PetSmart Salon Academy certification. Excel in high-pressure settings with strong organization, communication, computer skills. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, exposure to wet/hair-filled environments, moderate-high noise, live animals. Flexible schedule: evenings, weekends, holidays.
