Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Payson, Arizona location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional pet parent experiences. This role combines technical grooming skills with customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, manage appointments, and drive salon sales.
- Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness and humane conditions; respond to pet health issues.
- Handle check-ins/outs, reservations, client records, and promotional calls.
- Collaborate across departments and follow all company policies.
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or completion of PetSmart’s Salon Academy. Must demonstrate composure under pressure, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, strong communication, organizational skills, and physical stamina (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, wet/noisy conditions). Computer proficiency required.

- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and handle pets in wet, noisy environments (experience)
