Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive pet parent experiences. You'll handle full grooming menus, maintain salon standards, and contribute to store success through sales and safety protocols. This hands-on role demands flexibility, pet passion, and customer focus in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Consult with pet parents on health solutions, manage appointments, check-ins/outs, and rebookings.
- Drive salon sales by recommending merchandise and services to meet targets.
- Uphold cleanliness, sanitation, and humane pet conditions; respond to pet health issues.
- Assist other departments and follow all company policies.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Must excel in computer use, stay composed under pressure, communicate effectively, and organize meticulously. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet hair-filled, noisy environment with live animals.
