Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This hands-on role combines technical grooming expertise with outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. Uphold pet health, safety, and salon standards while contributing to store success.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards.
- Engage pet parents with personalized recommendations and sales.
- Handle salon operations including bookings, check-ins, and record-keeping.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and report pet health issues promptly.
- Collaborate across departments to support store goals.
Experience & Skills
Prior grooming experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion required. Thrive in a dynamic setting with strong communication, organization, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in a pet-filled environment. Flexible availability essential.
