Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog and/or Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services while ensuring pet health, safety, and positive pet parent experiences. This role upholds our vision of best-in-class grooming in a clean, humane environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions and rebook appointments
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and sales register duties
- Maintain salon cleanliness and report sick/injured pets immediately
- Promote services to meet sales targets and assist other departments
Experience & Skills
Prior grooming experience or completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy required. Must have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.

- Excellent written and verbal communication (experience)
Responsibilities
- Perform full grooming services including baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing
- Engage pet parents to recommend services and products
- Manage check-in/out, reservations, and client records
- Maintain salon cleanliness and pet safety standards
- Drive salon sales and achieve productivity targets
