Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Pittsburg, CA location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional pet parent experiences. Share responsibility for salon cleanliness and contribute to sales goals in a dynamic pet retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions and rebook appointments
- Handle check-in/out procedures, reservations, and client communications
- Maintain salon sanitation, perform daily maintenance, and respond to pet health issues
- Promote services and merchandise to meet sales targets
Experience & Skills
Prior grooming experience required, or completion of PetSmart's 6-month Stylist in Training program with Salon Academy certification. Must have computer proficiency, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, strong organization, communication skills, and ability to lift 50+ lbs in a fast-paced, pet-filled environment with moderate noise and wet conditions.
