Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and parents. Uphold company standards for pet health, safety, and salon excellence while driving sales and maintaining operations in our Redding store.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, promote services/merchandise to meet sales goals.
• Manage pet parent interactions: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, reminder calls, rebooking.
• Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness and humane conditions; perform daily/end-of-day maintenance.
• Monitor pet health, transport sick/injured pets to vet; assist other departments as needed.

Experience & Skills

Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training with successful Salon Academy completion/certification. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, scheduling flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, exposure to wet/hair-filled environments, and animal handling.
