Role Overview

As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Reno, Nevada location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats, engage pet parents, and uphold our vision of pet health, safety, and positive experiences. Share responsibility for salon cleanliness and contribute to sales targets in a dynamic pet retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards, including baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care.
• Recommend wellness solutions, manage pet parent interactions via phone, in-person, and register.
• Handle reservations, check-in/out procedures, client records, and reminder calls.
• Promote salon sales, merchandise, and services to meet productivity goals.
• Maintain salon sanitation, perform daily/end-of-day cleaning, and respond to pet health issues.

Experience & Skills

Prior grooming experience required, or 6 months as Stylist in Training with PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Proficiency in computers, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to pets/noise.
