Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds top standards for pet health, safety, and salon cleanliness. This dynamic role combines hands-on pet care with customer interaction to drive salon success.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart protocols.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, promote services/merchandise to meet sales goals.
- Handle salon operations: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, reminder calls, rebooking.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and humane conditions; respond urgently to pet health issues.
- Collaborate across departments and embody company values.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion (6 months training + certification). Excel with computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational precision, and strong communication. Physically demanding: lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, work in wet/noisy settings with animals.

42,000 - 55,000 CAD / yearly
